I don’t think my tiny little defense of KJ is proverbially wiping her tears late at night—I doubt she’s even crying. It’s more about getting people to rethink WHY they get so riled up by some lithe young woman who’s totally killing it.

I went to a TimesTalk last night with the stars of Broadway’s This Is Our Youth– Michael Cera, Tavi Gevinson & Kieran Culkin–and moderated by NY Times writer Dave Itzkoff. These are my very random thoughts from the evening.
You’re no longer thinking about their overuse of the word “compelling” or their bad music taste because these things have nothing on the precise way they nibble your ears, sniffing them a bit like a dog which is weird…but you really like it, too.
It was all my insecurities manifested as some sort of Dali-esque nightmare…the makings of a surrealist film that Women’s Studies majors would go to town with.
